If air temperature alone was measured, this was using Onset 12-bit Temperature Smart sensors, otherwise air temperature/RH were measured using Onset 12-bit Temperature/Relative Humidity Smart sensors. Surface wetness was measured at the lichen heath location using Onset Leaf wetness smart sensor. Volumetric water content (VWC) was also measured at 5 cm depth (from the ground surface) using ECH2O EC-5 volumetric moisture sensors using factory calibration - where possible in both hummock and inter hummock positions. All measurements were made at 10 minute intervals.
