Hollin Hill

Also known as cosmos/HOLLN

The site at Hollin Hill is on a steep south facing slope in the Howardian Hills to the north-east of York. The steepness means that it departs from the ideal requirements for a COSMOS-UK site, but the site is interesting as a landslide observatory operated by the British Geological Survey. It is a grassland site on which sheep graze.
