Gridded daily precipitation and temperature for Europe (1950-2006) [EU ENSEMBLES]
Daily precipitation and temperature time series spanning from 1950-2006 (Haylock et al., 2008). The dataset were created on a 0.25 and 0.5 degree regular latitude-longitude grid and on a 0.22 and 0.44 degree rotated pole grid.
The ENSEMBLES project researched climate change and its impacts in Europe. Beside the meteorological variables described above, it produced a set of simulations at seasonal-decadal and centennial timescales using global and regional climate models (see ENSEMBLE final report [1]).
