Cardington

Also known as cosmos/CARDT

The Cardington site is based on the Met Office Meteorological Research Unit at the Cardington Air Field, Bedfordshire. The facility has a wide variety of research-grade surface, sub-surface, mast-mounted, and balloon-borne instruments. The COSMOS-UK site is located on flat maintained grassland on typical mineral soil of clayey to sandy loam.
