Additionally, we collected samples from 4 mesocosm experiments from the CEH aquatic mesocosm facility (CAMF; http://www.ceh.ac.uk/our-science/research-facility/aquatic-mesocosm-facility). The four mesocosms represented a range of treatments, including heating and nutrient addition. Identification of the dominant algal classes was conducted, which included Chlorophyceae and Cyanophyceae, with a bloom of Euglena in mesocosm 7 in the early summer.
