Cells of Candida auris strains were exposed to selected environmental stress including environmental UV and low cycling temperature regimes in simulated environments and their survival was quantified by estimating the viability of exposed cells at intervals. The impact of exposure to environmental stress on the virulence of C. auris cells was also evaluated based on their virulence in Galleria mellonella larvae. To ensure the quality of data generated, each experiment inluded at least three replicates and experimental controls.
