Gisburn Forest

Also known as cosmos/GISBN

Gisburn is at the eastern edge of the Forest of Bowland above Stocks Reservoir in the headwaters of the River Hodder. The site is hosted by Forest Research. Within the footprint of the CRNS is a patchwork of conferious forest at different stages of growth. The site itself is located in an open area of rough grassland.
