The sample was prepared by melting it between two Kapton sheets, using an aluminium oval mould. Then, the sample was placed in liquid nitrogen and placed at the FTIR stage, where it was equilibrated at a given temperature. The FTIR spectra were collected every 1 minute or 1.5 minutes and saved in .csv files. The data was then baseline-corrected and analysed for the changes in the peak distribution (i.e. maximum peak wavelength, peak intensity).
