Each trap was set out for five days with >99% ethanol. To ensure accurate recording and labelling of samples, all handwritten field sheets were transcribed to a spreadsheet on the day of collection, while sites were still fresh in the memory, and samples were clearly and multiply labelled before handing over to the sequencing service.
