Sediment samples were collected in the field between 2019 and 2020 to characterise the range of sediment sources contributing to channel sediments in the Rio Santa catchment and Ranrahirca sub-catchment. Samples were oven dried, sieved to <63 μm, and prepared as required for further analyses. Data were produced on organic content (via loss-on-ignition), particle size (via laser diffraction) and major and minor elements (via Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence).
