Acceleration data was gathered by the Mini Buoy (B4+ design) at rates of either 1 second (monthly redeployments) or 10 seconds (quarterly redeployments) between March 2021-2022. The data has been cleaned to remove any data gathered before/after deployment. Coordinates of each location and the status of the marsh edge (eroding or expanding), and images of the marsh edge at each Mini Buoy deployment are also present. Caerlaverock is a dynamic saltmarsh undergoing areas of expansion and erosion - the deployment of Mini Buoys here allows identification of hydrological thresholds for expansion or erosion. B4+ Mini Buoys were deployed. Each individual logger sampled y-axis acceleration at 1Hz. Coordinates showing the location of each Mini Buoy deployment are expressed in WGS84 standard.\n\nIn total, 20 Mini Buoys were deployed - location data (as WGS84) are stored in Coordinates.csv. Acceleration data are stored in csv files and each contain acceleration measurements of an individual Mini Buoy (MB04, MB05, etc.) at a particular time period (i.e. Apr-May 2021; June-Sep 2021, etc.). There are 118 .csv Mini Buoy files in total. Data are provided as sub-minute measurements (DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS) of acceleration date (Yacc) expressed as gravity-compensated acceleration values in g-force (G).\n\nImages are provided of each of the 20 Mini Buoy sites as .JPEG.\n\n1st processing stage only (to remove data before/after deployment).
