Ant samples were collected with a Winkler extractor. The litter was sampled and placed in a Winkler sacks. The material from the collection bag was placed in the Winkler extractor for a period of 48 hours. The ants were collected in a pot containing 90% alcohol as a fixative liquid. Identification and abundance was carried for each of the collection bags. \n\nResults were recorded onto field sheets and entered into an Excel spreadsheet.
