dcterms:description "Land Cover Map 2025 (LCM2025) is a suite of datasets (raster, vector and csv) describing the UK land surface in 2025. They were produced at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology by classifying satellite images from 2025. LCM2025 includes 8 datasets: - Two 10 m classified pixel datasets (raster data), each classified to create a single mosaic of national land cover for Great Britain and Northern Ireland. - Two land parcel datasets (vector data) which are the result of intersecting each 10 m classified pixel dataset with the UKCEH land parcel spatial framework to generate land parcel attributes. - Two 25 m rasterised land parcel datasets: the result of rasterising the land parcel datasets into 25 m pixels. - A 1 km summary raster product, summarising dominant land cover class and percentage coverage of each land cover class. - A land cover statistics data set, with both spatial (vector) and tabular (csv) versions. LCM2025 is the thirteenth UK land cover map produced by UKCEH. Previous versions are LCM1990, 2000, 2007, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Currently only the 10 m classified pixel datasets are available, the remaining datasets will be made available in late September." ;
