Material sheets were punched to produce 8 mm diameter circular sequins, these were weighed (1.Sequin_masses) and subject to a leaching process to assess the change in mass after a 7 d leaching process (2.Sequin_mass_changes). The toxicity of cryoground sequin particles, sequin leachates and additives to Daphnia magna was determined alongside procedural blanks and controls (3.Sequin_toxicity_data). Finally, Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry was used to assess the concentrations of 15 metals within the sequin leachates (4.Sequin_leached_metals) and for acidified sequins (5.Sequin_digested_metals) including procedural blanks and standards.
