Soil physics were measured close to the EC mast (within a radius of 5 m).\nThirty‐minute flux densities of sensible and latent heat (LE and H) and net ecosystem CO2 exchange (NEE) were computed from the raw EC data using EddyPRO® Flux Calculation Software (v 7.0.6; LI‐COR Biosciences, Lincoln, Nebraska).
