These streams were monitored at baseflow during mid-August 2006.Measurements include pH, Gran Alkalinity, SRP, TDP, TP and dissolved NH4, Si, Fluoride, Cl, NO2, NO3, SO4, Na, K, Ca, Mg, B, Li, Sr, Be, Ba, Mn, Co, Fe, Zn, V, Cd, Cu, Cr, Ni, Mo, Al and Pb. Water was filtered under vacuum in the field through 0.45μm cellulose nitrate circles prior to analysis for major, nutrient and trace element analysis. Unfiltered samples were collected for total P (TP). The analysis was performed the day after return to the laboratory for the least stable components (pH, alkalinity and the nutrients) and within two weeks for the other determinants. Details of the storage and analytical methodologies are provided in Neal et al. (2000).
