Water level pressure readings were corrected for atmospheric pressure from local measurements. \n\nSediment deposition and suspended sediment concentration were measured in tidal creeks. Suspended sediment samplers were placed within the tidal creek to capture inflowing tidal water and outflowing tidal water separately. Sediment deposition was measured using deployed plastic cups. Cups were placed next to two tidal creeks at the Caerlaverock salt marsh flat. Cups were placed within a 3x3 grid with 3 m distance.
