{"description":"Hartwood Home Farm is located near Shotts in Lanarkshire, in an area of upland farms devoted to stock rearing. The soils are heavy, poorly drained gleys typical of soils found in this part of central Scotland. High rainfall combined with poor drainage mean \"poaching\" is common especially from October to May.
