Data were accessible on 19/06/2024 and represent studies from 2015 to 2024.\n\nThe dataset includes measured responses in a range of aquatic organisms after microfibre exposure. Measures correspond to the following defined traits: \n1.\tDevelopment - healthy molting and growth of organs and structures. \n2.\tFecundity - number of offspring and quality of gametes.\n3.\tFeeding - intake handling and egestion of resources.\n4.\tGrowth - change in organism weight, length or derived measures.\n5.\tHatching - number, emergence time and morphology of offspring.\n6.\tHealth - indices and measures of general organism wellbeing.\n7.\tSurvival - organisms alive at a particular time point.\n\nThis dataset was created to collate microfibre study findings for meta-analyses and to identify gaps within the literature. Web of Science results were evaluated and then the citing and cited studies from these results also screened.
