The data set contains laboratory measurements of the apparent permittivity (dielectric constant) of granular media and soils as a function of volumetric water content. Measurements include wetting, drainage, or both. In addition, there are measurements for granular materials with different shapes. All measurements were made with a Tektronix TDR with additional frequency dependent dielectric measurements (8) made using a network analyser. The data constitutes those measurements made by the authors over a 10 year period.
