European Seabirds at Sea

The dataset contains counts at sea for over 50 seabird species, collected year-round from ship and aerial transect surveys using standard methods. The data have been collected by the Seabirds at Sea Team (SAST) between 1979 and 2002, and since 1991 involve partners in north-west Europe. A resulting shared database is managed by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee.
