Dataset contains images recorded during a trial of Automated Monitoring of Insects (AMI), Automoth and Diopsis camera systems. The images were taken at five sites in Barro Colorado Island, Panama, during night-time hours from the 23rd to the 26th of January 2023. The parties involved in data collection are listed in the author section.

Provenance & quality
Images were collected by Automated Monitoring of Insects (AMI), Automoth, and Diopsis camera systems. AMI systems captured images at 10 minute intervals and upon the detection of movement. The images were taken at five sites in Barro Colorado Island during night time hours from the 23rd to the 26th of January 2023. There are no missing data.
