Isoprene flux and concentration measurements made from Auchencorth Moss during the summer of 2015. Isoprene concentrations were measured using a proton transfer reaction mass spectrometer (PTR-MS) and fluxes were calculated using the eddy covariance technique. The dataset includes the supporting meteorology including air temperature, photosynthetically active radiation, wind speed, wind direction, friction velocity, sensible heat flux.

Provenance & quality
Data were collected at Auchencorth Moss and subsequently stored and post-processed at the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology.
Isoprene concentration measurements were calibrated against a gas standard (uncertainty 5%) and had the instrument background subtracted, which was assessed by sampling air that had passed through a zero air generator.
Isoprene fluxes were calculated using the eddy covariance technique, with corrections for high frequency losses applied. The quality of the data were assessed based on stationarity and integral turbulence statistics. All data were retained except those where insufficient data was recorded during the individual 25 minute averaging periods.
