Data contains multiple life history parameters of a host the Indian meal moth Plodia interpunctella and its parasitoid Venturia canescens measured either at high (60.8% RH) or low (32.5%) humidity, with simulated heat stress exposure either at 4th or 5th instar larvae, at different length of 0, 6, 72 hours. Data were collected by a single-generation life history experiment in which we investigated how humidity modified the stage-specific responses of host and parasitoid to heat stress.

Provenance & quality

Experiments were conducted in lab incubators. Each column in the data files corresponds to each individual of host or parasitoid with its life history traits. Dates were recorded as the date that observations were carried out. Leg lengths of species were recorded to mm. All data were recorded in the lab using pen and paper. Data were checked with original source on the paper to make sure they were correct.
