Smart sensor data from tracking the movements of wooden dowels, a cobble and a physical analogue of large wood dam in laboratory experiments
The datasets in this collection contain measurements from cameras and smart sensors monitoring the movement of wooden dowels along a flume, the displacement of a physical analogue of a large wood dam in a flume, and the rolling and sliding of a cobble down a tilting table. The smart sensor was comprised of an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a magnetometer. Different flow conditions were tested in the flume and different angles were tested on the tilting table. The experiments were repeated between 3 to 50 times and the raw data were upsampled and filtered.
