Chemical and hydrological data from the Wood Brook, UK at the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research

This collection contains datasets from the Wood Brook at the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research, UK. The data collection includes biogeochemical data collected seasonally in surface and porewater, seasonal breakthrough curves of conservative and smart tracers in surface water and rates of streambed microbial activity and denitrification. The data was collected by the University of Birmingham, British Geological Survey and University of Keele. Funding was provided by the Natural Environment Research Council, UK through a Central England NERC Training Alliance Studentship (1602135), grant (NE/L004437/1) and the Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry Facility grant (CEH_L102_05_2016), with additional funding provided by the European Union through the H2020-MSCA-RISE-2016 project 734317.
