The dataset contains light penetration through the water column at a Durleigh Reservoir in Somerset, England.

HOBO Pendant Temperature/Light 8K Data Loggers (Onset) were positioned at 0.5 m, 1.5 m, and 2.5 m depths on a temperature chain Durleigh. The loggers were deployed between 30 May 2018 and 5 October 2018.

         Provenance & quality
The exact location of the temperature chain was latitude: 51.1210 and longitude: -3.0403, and the depth of the water column was 6 m. The chain consisted of a buoy (A2 size) attached to a 10 kg weight using rope. Measurements for light (lumens/ft2, accuracy: ± 2.5%) and temperature (°F) were taken every 10 minutes. The loggers were deployed between 30 May 2018 and 5 October 2018.
